Hush Floor 3mm
Hush Floor 3mm is an acoustic underlay suitable for use under most domestic and commercial floor coverings, including carpets, carpet tiles, heavier gauge safety flooring, linoleum, wood flooring, parquet, click LVT and laminate flooring.
Being made of cork and PU particles held together by a PU elastomer bonding agent makes Hush Floor completely inert. This means that it does not interact or interfere with any adhesives used to stick it down, with the subfloor or with the floor covering laid on top of it.
Hush Floor 3mm does not contain any PVC or rubber, so there is no danger of plasticiser or pigment migration from the underlay into the floor covering. Due to it being completely inert, Hush Floor 3mm can be adhered using virtually any good quality industry recognised textile, resilient or hard flooring adhesive.
Hush Floor 3mm can be used under almost any floor covering that is at least 3mm thick, to create a healthy and pleasant environment. Due to its low profile, Hush Floor 3mm is particularly suitable for use under click LVT, wood flooring, parquet, laminate flooring, carpets and carpet tiles in any domestic or commercial setting.
To safeguard the structural integrity of the finished floor and to ensure that floor coverings perform as expected, the total thickness of the floor covering should never be lower than that of the acoustic underlay it is fitted on top of.
